Founded in July 2009, EMBN (English Modiin Business Network) is a business networking group comprised of talented professionals of all ages, who are interested in helping each other maximize their opportunities for business expansion. The twice monthly morning gatherings are also designed to create personal interaction that enables each member of the network to make referrals to one another, thus increasing the prospect for additional business.

Members of EMBN span the entire spectrum of the business world including: lawyers, health experts, insurance agents, artists, tour guides, real estate brokers, as well as small business owners and entrepreneurs looking for the right connection.

EMBN has endeavored to create private evening events for members and their spouses, as well as public gatherings, which accentuate a relaxed “after business hours” atmosphere, where light chit-chat is combined with shop talk.

Regular EMBN meetings feature:

• 60 second presentations- Each person gets 60 seconds to state their name, profession, requested referral & what is special about them and their business.
• Golden Goose: The ‘golden goose’ is a 2 minute business exercise designed to help one person identify who might be a glittering source of referrals (or information). During the course of the ‘golden goose’ exercise, an EMBN member will zero in on the exact type of referrals he/she might be searching for. After the exercise, there is a roundtable discussion where each EMBN participant gets 60 seconds to present their ideas about finding the ‘golden goose’ for that person.
• 10 minute presentations: During each meeting, one of the EMBN members is asked to give a full 10 minute presentation about his/her profession, personal business experiences and insights into creating a successful enterprise etc.
• Guest speakers-EMBN periodically invites a range of renowned business professionals to discuss relevant networking concepts and exercises.
